LAH AHMAD - the comeback!

Hey ppl out there,

We were comission to do a photoshoot for LAH AHMAD new single and today was great as we managed to cover the outdoor and studio photoshoot. Talking about having a running nose and lack of sleep, photos that we took turns out breath taking and followed from the reference that we have.

Thanks to yana as the second photog. You're my pillar to this great work. After the shoot we will start on the touch up and CD single layout design.

The Mind Map: Six Steps to Get Your Creativity Flowing

Forget Making a List
Lists often come from the organized, analytical left side of your brain, and to solve an intractable problem, you want to engage the right, the creative side. Make a mind map instead. Get a big piece of paper and start in the center with a circle that contains the original problem. Write different solutions, and follow paths outward on the page, limb by limb, pushing beyond the obvious. To plan a party, for example, I put "A great dinner party for friends" in the middle, and among the many branches, one went: "Make your own sundaes → mashed potatoes → have dessert first → sit on floor → indoor picnic." Another branch went: "Progressive dinner → go to different restaurant for dessert(s) → show up at friends' houses uninvited → scavenger hunt to find food." A third: "Teach something → learn something → juggling → magic trick → expert invitee on food/wine." Your to-do list will just get you from point A to B.

Hire a Coach
A lot of people tell me, "I'm a smart person; I don't really need help." When I hear that, I point out that Tiger Woods, perhaps the best player in the history of golf, has a coach. My first book came out in 2001, and I was approached by a speakers' bureau that wanted to send me on tour, but I had done zero talks. So I got a coach. I spoke in 16 countries last year. Suddenly, I'm standing onstage with Deepak Chopra! I've got to tell you, for me to discover at age 45 that I could do this? That was a gift. A coach can bring out talents that you haven't fully developed or ones that you might not even admit to yourself that you have.

Blow Open Your Curiosity
Focus on what you love, but don't limit yourself to only things that you love. Subscribe to new magazines, download podcasts on a topic that has nothing to do with your current life, go to lectures by people at the top of their field—even if you've never heard of their field, get books on tape, and follow websites that gather interesting information. (I get Cool News of the Day from Reveries.com and Trend Candy from TrendHunter.com.) If you've been banging your head against an obstacle, this kind of cross-pollination can get you over it.

Find a Reverse Mentor
The world is changing at such a rapid rate that most people over 40 and certainly 50 (which is me) find it impossible to stay on top of developments that might contain the perfect solution to your family's digital photos snafu or open you up to a job that would not only put your talents and skills to good use but thrill you. A reverse mentor—someone younger and more plugged in—can get you up to speed on new trends, pop culture, starting a social network account, or more substantial things. I have two reverse mentors. One, Diego, took me under his wing and helps me with blogging. What's in it for the mentors? They're building relationships, for starters. And, as we all know, you learn a subject more completely when you teach it to someone else.

my house got broke in last thrusday on the day of the chinese new year. And they took my ibook G4. The most precious item of all. All my pics, songs from itunes, personal stuffs and artworks just gone like that.. pfuff! @#$k (basically i got my back up files with me, but not all)

and they took my ibook G4. I was numb and frustrated that this is the second time happening to me after my powerbook (well that time i got robbed at Centerpoint, Bandar Utama back in 2002). Anyhow.. life must go on.

Gonna get a mac book soon.. then IM BACK IN THE GAME! wish me luck!

Alhamdullilah, praise to Allah that i am still breathing. Being 27 today is sumthing for me, the opportunity that i got and the experienced that i haf gone thru over the past these years. Getting your own ride and now focus more on my passion for sumthing new (day job and managing 360 grapik) is a challenge for me and yet the most important is LIFE.

The ups and downs and the foward thinking for the future..

Freedom Festival Fest 2007

The Freedom Festival Fest 2007 was held at Central Market Annexe from 14 - 16 September 2007. I was the official photographer for the 3 days event. The event went well and the crowds was promising. The 3 winners of the FFF2007, Ong Boon Keong, Fahmi Reza and Indrani Kopal film got their screened during the event. But Fahmi won the most "outstanding human rights film".

Well i've know eddy since secondary school. He was my brother's friend and later we click as we are in same hangout lepak group at the mamaks and playing street soccer. A good friend and cool person to hangout with.

He got married to beautiful wife from land across the sea; Jakarta, Indonesia. She sang few songs at the reception too. Me and the family went there to the reception with Zul at Sime Darby Convention Centre. Everybody thought that i was the official photographer. =)

Hello ppl,

I am moving towards my goal by the end of the year. Got few photography sessions jotted down in my calendar and notebook. Currently, doing layouts for my website (finally) and got a good friend of mine to render it. A simple yet informative webpage that caters the needs of arts crafty and photography. Been reading few books on management and discussing with all this experienced people. The ultimate GOAL in life; to be happy with things that i love to do and earn a living from it.

This is latest updates. I've been busy for the past few weeks. Doing the freelance jobs and meeting plus internal discussion. Well i cant review it yet cuz its still P&C. Basically my nights and weekends booked by the clients and collaboration partners. I also been reading photography book and talk to some photographers on tips to get better angle and results.

i am quite free for the past 2 days. my client havent revert to me back on the amendments. Other than spending time paying my bills on net and checking and finally deleting the stupid mails.

Listening to this band SUPERBAR song - same way i do. With the catchy tunes, keep on listening to it over and over thru itunes. Other than than, steeling songs from the korean drama theme songs and ruth sahanaya for my mom. She was pleased that she finally got sum tunes to listen at home.

Ramadhan is just round the corner. 2 weeks time tho, a good time for those who think that they could go on a diet. But for me, its just the same. Wether i'd be break fast at home or office. it depends wether we're gonna busy or not during this Ramadhan.

Maybe i shud catch a movie tomorrow. Anyone wants to join? Buzz me!

This is the latest entry.

My fren got engaged last week. Went to the fiancee house with nelli and heykal. Just to give support since i know the family and tunjuk mamat heykal nie bout the adat bertunang (he's missed the sister's engagement cuz he was in Melbourne). Ni balik pun because the sister is getting married this Saturday. I'd be going since he got himself a room. Apalalagi buat party haram.

Else, im currently down with flu/fever. I guess its the weather and never ending work. Better take sum pills and rest at home tho. And i missed gym session for a week. I miss looking at the girl that always have fresh flower on her ear. Giler sweet tak ingat. Hope that i could haf the time today to go to the gym. Just for a shrt while, sweating myself up.

Recently my ibook harddisk crashed due to overload of stuff (i guess). Even my fren from mac service couldn't even figure out wats wrong with my LISA (thats my ibook nyer nama).

So back to installing all the required software to do my work again. Actually dah malas nak install.. but heck i got to do wat i got to do. Lama la jugak nak install the software fron the CS 2 till all the utilities.

Thats all for now.. LISA is back with 80G harddrive (yeah baby). till then chiow

I've been going to a gym near office for the past 2 months. I spent my 1 and half hours there evey 3 times a week. You must be wondering why this fella starting to go to the gym. Well basically to got get the stamina that i need to last long like the energiser rabbit. Secondly there were comments about my tummy that starting to get buncit. As you im happy and happy to eat whatever i want except the kayu and the the batu.

Merely trying to accompany colleague who was desperately need to lose weight and look good in the first place, I got hooked up at the end. Having a contract for 2 years, im looking forward to see how far i can go with my body and my fitness. Well at least that i know hows the feeling going to the gym and doing the workout to tone up the body and i started to read the Men's Health magazine to get the updates and the cara-cara pemakanan yang betul and yadayadayayada..

Care to join me for an hour workout at the gym? call me ; )

My room

Its been awhile since my last post.. either i was so busy or merely ran out words to write. Both would be the answer actually. ok. lets begin with the latest updates.

My room

My room/studio is almost completed. Just need to get the scanner and the printer... the rest. hmm... ok la.. with the ibook G4 on on the table plus the 17 inch apple monitor as the second screen. Plus with creative boombox speaker that gives the ultimate pleasure listening to RnB or perhaps sum chillout session. Ouh.. i already sent out my iMac G3 for repair (the power supply got busted). And i got the quotation for the new mac mini 1.5Ghz Intel Core. Huhuhuhu telling bout that machine.. just gonna tryout with the boot camp and see how the thing works with the windows XP. It means that im gonna have two programme in my hardisk 1. The OSX 10.4.3 and 2. Windows XP.

SPIDERMAN's new suit...

I read comics. Almost all kinda of comics international and local. I started collect during my early teen when im still in secondary school. From MARVEL to IMAGE comics and VALIANT comics label. Like spiderman,superman,spawn,savage dragon and the crow (that's after i watch the crow movie) to name few.. But over the years im more to tradepaper bags or graphic novel. Then i stopped due to insuffficent of sum and crap stories.

Recently i read in the newspaper article on SPIDERMAN's new suit. I was like "what the hell! mamat nie dah tukar baju lagi?" Terkejut la sekejap. Anyway.. as some of you will know that spiderman dah berapa kali tukar baju. From the original red and blue to a alien suit (at the end si venom dapat). The scarlett nyer suit and now from Tony Strak design for si peter parker. Giler ganas.. almost sama with IRONMAN's suit. The colour pun tukar to red and gold colour. Seriously got my intention to grab that issue AMAZING SPIDERMAN #529 from the local comic shop (hope ader stock lagi). That will be my prized collection. Mana tau in few years time harga naik dlm ebay. Boleh jual.. (as if i want to sell). Just want to know how much that comic will value on the ebay.
Oh well cakap banyak pun tak guna. Just buy that issue jer la... then we'll see how the story goes behind the new suit.
